How the Inserts Work
Three inserts. Four looks.
The only jacket you need.
The blazer can be worn alone for a sharp look, but also comes with 3 interchangeable inserts that change the look on the go. The blazer body has a full length zips inside the collar and front edges. Each insert zips into those channels and sits under the blazer, so the collar, neckline and cuffs change while the jacket stays the same.

No insert: The blazer worn alone, clean and tailored.
Insert 1 - Collared shirt: Sharp and Sporty. A collar without the fuss of a shirt. Client meetings, presentations and pitches, golf, smart casual dress codes, drinks after work, dinner out.
Insert 2 - Mock neck: A clean high neck. Business casual meetings, conferences, dinner, travel days that end in a meeting, cooler weather, layering.
Insert 3 - Hooded Insert: Casual Smart & Relaxed. Travel and commuting, weekends, changeable weather, informal evenings, game day.
Swapping looks takes about 20 seconds. One zip down, one zip up. And buttons on the neckline to secure it in place. You can do it in a car or an airport.
They pack flat. An insert folds smaller than a t-shirt, so you can carry a second look in a bag without noticing it.
Fit, Fabric, and Care
Sizing
It is important you check the size chart measurements before you order.
If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down.
This is not a traditional woven suit. A woven suit is stiff, with no stretch, so it has to be cut with room in it to let you move. Ours is a performance stretch fabric, so that room is already in the cloth.
It gives where a stiff jacket cannot, so it wears larger than the same size in a traditional blazer.

Our model is 183cm (6'0") and wears a 42.
Fabric
This is a premium performance fabric. It is a deliberate choice.
Our fabric stretches, holds its shape and travels, all while providing comfort.
Body: 60% nylon, 35% viscose, 5% spandex.
Sleeves: 100% polyester.
Lining: 100% polyester.
Hardware
Premium YKK zips on the front, the sleeve and the insert channel.
Care
Dry clean recommended.
If you wash it, hand wash cold, reshape it while damp, then dry flat or on a line out of direct sun.
Steam it on the hanger. If you iron, use a low heat and a press cloth, never directly on the fabric.
Do not bleach. Do not tumble dry. Do not wring.

Leave the security tag attached. We cannot accept a return once the tag has been removed, so keep it on until you are sure.

EXCHANGES
Customer pays for return shipping of unused item. NOIR pays for the shipping of the new size to the customer once original order is received.
No exchanges on the Weekender Duffle unless there is a defect to the item.

Fair question. We are Rion and Amanda, a small founding team, and we design everything in house. This is our first capsule, and it will grow
into everything a man needs to look sharp and stay comfortable on the

We know we are new. That is why returns are free for 30 days, exchanges
are free worldwide, and a real person answers info@noirmenswear.com.
What am I paying for?
Most men buy four jackets to cover four situations. You buy one, and all
three inserts are included.
The fabric took two years and four attempts to get right. Every
component was chosen by hand rather than picked from a factory
catalogue. And we went to the factory ourselves before agreeing to work
with them, rather than taking somebody's word for it.
Are all three inserts included in the price?
Yes. All three come with the jacket. Nothing is sold separately.
Does the blazer come with matching trousers?
The blazer is sold on its own.
We have designed matching trousers in the same fabric, The Dare Trouser. They are in production now, there is no shipping date yet, and you can pre-order them here.
Can people tell it is not a normal blazer?
No. The body is cut like a traditional suit jacket, so it reads as
tailoring. The bomber sleeve is the only visible difference, and it
looks deliberate rather than novelty.
How quickly can I swap an insert?
In about 20 seconds. Two zips down, two zips up. The buttons on the neckline fasten it in place. This can easily be done on the go. You can do it in a car or at an airport or in any public place. You do not need a changing room or privacy for this.
What size should I get, and does the insert change it?
Check the garment measurements before you order. The jacket is cut with
the inserts in mind, so the size that fits you with an insert in is the size that fits you with none. If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing down, because the stretch fabric wears larger than a traditional
blazer.
Can a tailor alter it?
Yes! The body of the fabric will be easy for a tailor to alter should you choose to tailor it.
Is it hot to wear?
No. It is a performance fabric rather than a lined wool suiting, so it is different to a traditional blazer, and it stretches.
It is not a summer specific jacket, but it can be worn year round anywhere that calls for a jacket or a blazer.
Can I wash it, or does it have to be dry cleaned?
Dry cleaning is best for the longevity of the garment. If you do not have access to a dry cleaner, it can be hand washed on cold.
If you do hand wash it, reshape it while damp and dry it flat or on a line out of direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. You can pay in installments at checkout through a third party
payment service.
